So I'm thinking about relaxing the wonder placement requirements. I think some of the placement requirements are too harsh and make for a less fun game.
On the other hand, I don't want a complete free-for-all, so I was thinking about just removing some of the biome requirements.
Examples could be:
Terracotta Army: Must be placed on grassland. None of it's effects or have anything to do with the fact that it should be placed on Grassland. It just so happens, that in the real world, it was built on grassland.
Ha'amonga 'a Maui: Must be placed on grassland or tropical and adjacent to coast. It's effect is coastal so that stays, but why limit it to grassland and tropical?
An example of a requirement that I would not alter:
Petra: Must be built on desert. The effect of Petra is tied to desert, so that stays.
But I am a noob when it comes to modding. I don't even know in which file to look for these data, or whether these requirements are hardcoded (I doubt that though).
So can anyone point me in the right direction as to which file has data on the wonders?
