I was thinking about the editor during some modding today and I saw that the editor had some limits so I wanted these improvements to the editor:

1. Need Events. You should be able to have events occur like at this point of time Civ A will declere war on Civ B or Civ A should suprise attack Civ B. This would be great options for scenarios like War on Terriosm and World War 2 where you can set a date for terroist to attack the U.S. in the war on terriosm and you can have a date where the U.S. enteres World War 2 and Germany attacks Soviet Union. This would add some great concepts.

2. We need an option that allows you to start out with agreements or war. Like in the editor you can say when the game begins Civ A is automatically at war with Civ B. Or that Civ A has a mutual protection pact with Civ B or some other agreements. Also would be very useful to the community.

3. Also you should be able to give each Civ a currency besides gold (defualt). This ideas just for fun.

Thats all I can think of now but more will come later so you guys can post now.

1. Will likely be incorporated in the Python scripting available for CivIV.

2. Already in C3C. It's called "Locked Alliances."

3. Maybe you can edit the text? You'd have to ask a more experienced person (if it were possible, it would involve editing files outside the editor.)

I just hope they include an editor. They could just say "We gave you Python what more do you want".

yeah your right they could say that and that would hurt the scenarioers and modders.
