Editor problem?

I'm sorry if this is answered somewhere in the sticky thread about the newest patch... I did look through it but didn't find it. Ever since the adding the patch I've had an issue with the newest version of the map editor.

I can create new maps but if I try to make changes to the rules all the options are blank, so obviously I can't change any of the rules. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and/if anyone knows if it will be fixed.

Also.. I saw the news about an expansion pack, and I wondered if anyone had any ideas what they mean by a "turnless" online mode... ok I know what turnless means but I'm trying to picture it as it would apply to Civ3, how will you know how long it will take to build things ect?
