Editor Problem

I am attempting to use the conquest editor for the first time and every time I attempt to make a change it gives me a script error access denied. I play the steam version. Any ideas?

Where is it installed?

If it's in the default location C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\...\Civ3Complete\... on Win7 onwards, and the Editor is run without Admin privileges, you may not be able to write to that directory.

If changing that setting doesn't help, you might need to consider uninstalling the game, and then reinstalling it in a non-restricted location, e.g. C:\Games\...\Civ3Complete\...
