Editor?

I see custom content being added but I've yet to locate the editor that was supposed to be "extremely easy to find/use" even while playing a game.

Don't get me wrong, like a lot about Civ V (also dislike some small stuff but that's a given), but I really would like to start messing with the editor.

Anyone know where I can find this and why it doesn't seem to have come with the retail game?

it's not out yet, when it's ready it will be under the Library -> Tools tab on Steam.

That how is it other people are uploading mods they've made already? O_o

They either are doing it the old fashioned way ( modying the files using other programs, like notepad ) or they are beta testers and already have access to the modding tools.
