Have tried to find information on this little conundrum but so far found none;
Is it only the founder of Empyrian religion that get a Ecclesiastic?
I thought it would be like the other religions, but so far founding or getting it spread to you seems to be the only way to get it. Is this intentional?

i think its a bug that non-founders who research it don't get the disciple too

No you don't, that is intentional at least. But Empyrian is not secret either and that I thought was the reason behind only founder getting the means to spread it.

I think you get a unit for researching Deception, but it is messed up because the Unit can only spread CoE if you have it as your state religion.

Yes you do get the Nightwatch when you research Deception, be you the first to do it or not.

You get a nightwatch for researching deception, but under the current implementation they can't spread it unless you adopt the religion, which you can't do until you spread the religion.....

As a side note, i think i found where Kael got the Empyrean from. im playing Dungeon Lords, and in that game there is a "Temple of the Empyrean" though it has nothing to do with the sun

And yeah, both CoE and Empyrean need a little work, it is very, very hard to get them if you aren't the founder and haven't met the founder...
