what does it do? what gives better performance with this thingy ON or OFF?

set to 1 is better.

what are your system specs?

152 settings in the ini file vary depending on the computer specs.

I'm with SIS M760 Integrated, Mirage 2 (it gets 64MB share of RAM)
Other is Sempron 3100, 512MB of RAM, Via audio.

P.S. Giving 128MB of RAM to IGP didn't gave any noteable result.

sure... exept for in-game videos, they are very choppy.
but the game runs quite OK (keeping in mind that SIS M760 is IGP and I set it to use only 64MB of RAM). no sound problems, no crashing, just some graphics options set to lower values...
