I used to love it in Civ 1 like, most of us no doubt, when it replayed the events of the game and your empire.

I did email Fraxis about this and they have put up something to the effect that this will be making a return which is wicked!

Anyway how much detail should go into this do people think? Any ideas?

I personally would love it to record sutff in a general report, also I hope the following would be implemented and make say 4 seperate reports one covering military, one covering culture(whatever it is)one covering science and one covering politics.

Various examples

* The first person to discover something e.g The great Mongol empire in 1800 ad was belived to be the first civilisation to practice ritual burial.

* Wonders of the world being built (general report)

* Largest cities at any time e.g Tokyo ( general report)

* The aztecs and russians form an alliance now as the Kiev pack to contain German agression, it lasts 26 years.

* The great Army of Bob caputres the French city of Orleans

Anyway you get my drift, thats what I would love to see along with the old power graph

Yeah I also liked the post-game sequence in Civ 1, though admittedly I don't recall it so strongly, being several years since I last played Civ 1. But something along the suggested lines would indeed be nice to see... Let's hope for it!

I hear you Blofeld - watching your colour spread across the map made it all seem worthwhile. The graphics in CIV1 were pretty chunky, so hopefully they can improve on it this time round.

I was thinking that wouldn't it be nice if you got to see the map of all the world how it looked every turn and then you could see every city pop-up and be takend. That way you could realy se how your empire were compared to the others every turn and se the development of the world.
