It's not date specific, but technology specific. When you've discovered all the advances for a given era you advance.

yes i understand, but the game end in 2050 and if you then are not in the Modern Time, but in the Industrial Time, something's wrong.. youre science is to slow

I think he is asking for input from other players as to what date they moved from era to era as opposed to what triggers the game to switch eras.

I havn't kept track yet, but I will be playing tonight.....
