I've recently purchased a new hard drive and am trying to re-install C3C. I've successfully installed the game on the same hardware configuration before, but just with a different hard drive.
When I attempt to autorun the CD, which is in my E drive, I get:
"The application of DLL E:\IFC23.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette."
I've also tried just exploring the CD and running the setup program, and I get a similar error.
Any idea what the deal may be?
Oh, and i'm running XP Pro, Athlon 64 3.2, 1 gig ram, and a very powerful vid card.
One other funny thing I've noticed. When I try to run Civ4 with my C3C disc in the drive, I get the C3C splash screen popping up, and then it just says "Put in your Civ4 disc".
Kinda funny since I can't get the C3C splash screen to come up at all otherwise.
