espionage question

hello, im sort of a newbie to civ 3, and for the life of me i cant seem to figure out how to conduct all the espinoage missions, i can only get investigatge city, and steal technology even though i hold the intelligence agency....can any one clarify how this works ? thanks

Did you plant a spy in the civ you want to spy against

i do have embassies with everyone

One of the things about C3C is the improved interface. It makes doing spy things easy to figure out.

In CivIII you can double click the city with the IA icon to get to the screen. I cannot remember the layout for it, but it should have a diplomacy and spy segement. Selecting spy should offer plant spy, if you have the gold for the cost.

Once you plant a spy on that civ you should be able to select the other missions.
