Euclidean 5-Space Geometry, it is one of the last techs the tech tree has to offer, so it made me curious to know what it is and why did the developers put it in such a spot.

I know what euclidean geometry is, so this 5-Space one intrigued me, I thought to myself, "was it a brand new theory of the scientific community, or the creation of the developer's imagination?"

So first and foremost I researched the civpedia page about this one and the other, Transverse Euclidean Geometry, and while both have an amusing explanation the second one had a somewhat more serious description, still it wasn't enough for me to understand completely.

So Google here I go!...

...and nothing, just simple ol' Euclidean geometry. But while I was searching, I found out Non-Euclidean geometry, which is amusing to say the least, you can either have the long and boring explanation or a "real" life example of it in action, here and here.

Seeing I didn't have any luck I guess it is safe to assume that these techs (and maybe others) came from the very imaginative minds of whoever helps in this mod.

So, the actual question: Developers, why did you put those techs in there, what made you imagine them and why so far into the end of the tech tree?

Either way this was just a personal adventure of mine, hope the mod continues active well into the galactic era development (one of my fav. features in this mod), but seeing the difficulties you have to endure to make it happen, I have to wish you good luck!

My personal suggestion (even if it's totally irrelevant) is to add a Technological Singularity tech as the second last tech, dunno why but for me it makes sense if you ignore the transhuman era techs related to AI. Think about it, seeing there won't be any more techs besides the one that repeats itself for increased bonuses, it implicitly means events can not be predicted or understood, thus we do not know what to add.
