Ever change your rules.txt file to remove all tech prerequisites?

Haha. Actually, it's pretty interesting. You'd think you could just start building tanks and stealth fighters once you have the tech, but, you still have to research techs for other things like governments and city improvements. In one game, I couldn't get my cities past size 4 because of unhappiness caused by my failure to research any new government types. hehehe. It's a nice diversion from the regular game. Fun!

Really, if you remove the tech prerequisites for the units, they are still very expensive, right? I mean, a city with a size of one 3500BC, how long does it take for such a small city to produce a stealth bomber or a nuke? So, in the time you're building a stealth, your enemies will trample you with their legions and chariots!
 
Exactly. That's part of the fun. Hard to build stealth bombers when your cities are in disorder because you can't build a temple! hahahahaha!
