Ever happened to you?

I demanded tribute(im quite sure that i wasnt allied) from enemy and they estabishled embassy with me as a gift.

Can this happen or have I seen dream(I sometimes see dreams about civ)
Atleast I havent seen it happening again

I've never heard of this, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen.

I don't think anyone can just establish an embassy with another civ.

I'm always open to new findings though.

How about if I give you a little pinch to see if your sleeping.

Now you should be wide awake.

If you have a saved game that this happened in, I would be very interested to see it, otherwise, I think you were sleeping.

It happens only on chieftain level

Yes... Sometimes at cheiftain level you don't ask for but you have an automatic ambassy in the other civ. Just like that, even at war

Good, I'm glad someone else knew for sure because I kinda remembered hearing about that before also... I am definately no expert on what happens in the chieftain level.

Well now I know im not sleeping, but still not sure was it chieftain level, cos I always play with deity. Well it was long time ago.........

Do u rememer did u do anything special why they gave u embassy and also which gov and difficult level etc.?

Your not doing more that have contact with another civ. Then automaticly you have embassy (and they on you).
I think it is only at cheiftain level. I just finished one, just for fun
