yes every time I've been flamed (bad) it's 99.99% from people no one has ever seen before and usually with 10 or fewer posts. And because of watching too many episodes of the X-Files, the "conspirousy theory" person in me thought that maybe they are posters from "other" civ web sites jealous of us and wanting to get fed up with CFC, trying to make us leave.


Now that I've thought about it a little more though, that DOES sound ridiculous, doens't it?

Yeah. I RARELY get PMs at all. I guess none is better than flaming PMs. Most of my PMs just say "Thanks". See, I appointed myself temporary newbie greeter. You know, a friendly "Welcome" or "Hope you have fun here!" Kinda to get they to stay here.

btw, DL? I dont think so. I ve gotten some different points of view with some posters, and maybe they still remember me as a mad guy here but i want to be known as me, I wouldnt use a DL to flame other posters.

Yeah, I don't report flames AoA. Just the abusive ones like the last one where the guy said "I was a pussy and if I would have the guts enough to stand before him he'd kick my a$$" and I said nothing to provoke him.. anyway I was trying to get his address so I could meet him and give him his wish, but before he came back Chieftess banned him, she must have been really mad cuz it was for 7 days. Kind of harsh don't you think? (not that I care)

Lefty, what you said makes sense, can't we identify users by their IP? I know that doesn't help if they have access to multiple computers but it might help.
