expierience delay after a fight?

if you experience any delay after you make a move with your unit, i feel your pain and impatience. To think I played for a while learning to cope with this delay as though it was a part of the game. I would sit there and wait what seemed like an eternity, although probably only ten seconds, but that adds up after being taxed after so many turns.

So here is your solution so that you no longer need to watch a blue ring swirl around your unit after you have finished attacking (some other things that might bug out on you are choosing a production and then get taken to the same city to re-choose production as though you hadn't already, or same thing with a tech, or city state pop ups)

to skip this delay and perform the next action (end turn, etc..) press the default key:

yes that is all you need to do, press the key right next to the 'm' on the keyboard, the ',' key. I was amazed at how much smoother my playing time was (I'm sure it saves me at least 10 min altogether)

Summary: Unit Cycling Error
Solution: Press ',' key, the one next to the 'm' key (on default settings)

Hope i helped someone out there, i know it was super annoying for me while playing

You can also end this by clicking on a different unit, but your solution is much more efficient
 
Yes! It's one of the reasons the "improved" tactical combat just ends up being tedious. And the battle animations are a bit too long also...I dont want to turn them off but they should be a bit quicker imho.
