Explorminate: The Top 4X Games of 2024(X)

Explorminate has published a new videos, about the best 4X games to be expected.
They start with how the 90s with Civilization 2 and Master of Orion was the golden age of 4X, although 2023 also had a ton of good games, including the expansions for Old World and Humankind, GalCiv4, Spellforce and others. They then follow-up with the 5 most interesting games for 2024, including Paradox' Millennia (including criticizing the graphics but praising the mechanics), Revival: Recolonization, a post-apocalyptic Civ game, which should get out of early access this year, and Ara: History Untold.

Looks like they mention a bunch other classic and recent Civ likes or great 4X games too such as Colonization, Master of Magic, Endless Legend/Space, Stellaris, Age of Wonders 4, Dune Spice Wars, Master of Magic Reboot, Interstellar Space Genesis, Imperiums Greek Wars, and Spellforce. In the main 5 (6 really) they also mention ZEPHON (Civ meets Warhammer from the 40K Gladius creators) and for space lovers they look at Alliance of the Sacred Suns and Sins of a Solar Empire 2.
