Extended Tech Tree

Im not a modder and dont know how to do it. But i figured in every mod that extends the time to research tech - why not extend the amount of techs instead, is it possible? It would be great i think.

It's definately possible. I've been working on such a project for myself. The hardest part is coming up with techs and names that actually make some sense instead of throwing techs in just to have more techs.
