F1 - F2 - F3 - Error.

Sometimes when I hit one of the hotkeys to the various advisors the game just crashes and returns to windows. Very annoying when I'm playing online games.
How can i fix this problem?

My military advisor used to crash periodically. But then I got a new computer and that hasn't happened since.

Are you sure that the crashing is related to the hotkeys, and not just the advisor screens? If it's just the hotkeys, don't use them.

What patch are you using?

This was an old (now fixed?) bug that if you hit some of the F# keys simultaneously, even if you don't mean to, the bug will crash.

I have the latest patch (1.22). Not using hotkeys is not an option.

Have you checked the technical support forum? There may or may not be info there for you.

Since it is just happening to this extreme to you, it has to be something about your puter setup.

This crash occurs to me too on C3C 1.22.
Usually after abandoning a city I recently conquered, I have to really take a chance pressing F1/2/3/?? .. I do F1 and the game crashes.
