Fall Further without Main Menu, general Buttons, etc

Hello,

a couple of days ago I installed Fall Further and the L-Patch. The Main Menu Screen showed only blinking arrows. I was able to click myself through but I never saw anything else than more blinking arrows and buttons without description or titles. On the page where you can chose water options, I also didn´t see any maps on the left side.

Yesterday I downloaded K-Patch and deinstalled Fall Further and L-Patch completely.

After installing the K-Patch I had the same problem. I deinstalled everytrhing again and installed Fall Further, naked.

It worked. But had a lot of bugs, of course.

I have XP, the computer ist a couple of months old, the system has a good graphic card and dual core, enough ram, etc... Fall From Heaven is the latest version. I play the german version.

Why is the game not playable? I have followed the install instructions.

In another thread the user was told to rename a Jotnar text file. I didn´t find a Jotnar txt file at all. If this is the answer to my problem, where do I find this file, and what exactly do I have to do with it?

Patch M will fix this (should be posted shortly), but the CIV4GameText_Jotnar.xml is in \Mods\Fall Further 050\Assets\XML\Text\. Probably easier to wait for M though - just doing final testing and posting...

ok, thanks for the fast reply. You´re right though, before I start to mess around with the changing files, I will wait for the patch.
