So we have the contract between gods which prevents their direct involvement in Erebus but what would happen if a god did get involved again? Lets say Sirona shows a bit too much mercy and tries to interfere in creation directly out of compassion?

Would she fall from her heaven to erebus? what form would she (or any god take)? that of man? that of a beast? Would they be hunted by the agents of rival powers?

Thanks for your thoughts.

EDIT: what if their archangel intervened?

If Sirona would interfere too much it would happen the same as it was with Mulcarm.

She wouldn't fall from heaven-heavens are closed by the One.

Would the gods have to convene and agree to the god's expulsion or would it be automatic?

Presumably it would mean her opposite on the evil 'team' would be allowed to enter creation to oppose her and/or the Gods would be able to then influence the Godslayer into the hands of a mortal who would stand up to Sirona

What's directly opposed to Spirit? Body? So Aeron would fight Sirona. Poor, poor Sirona

That would be a task for Aeron's Bounty :p

Nope, Aeron's Bounty is a sect who act as though they were assassins. You want the job done right, contract Needles.

What, is Needles some kind of disease?

Ah, thanks. So Needles is a single person, not an organization or strange disease.

I think the one opposing Sirona is Agares. POOR, POOR SIRONA ()

Sirona is compassion
The opposite of compassion is cruelty
So we are looking for a sadistic, cruel jackass
There are so many choices...

But since the gentleman in your avatar isn't available to Erebus, I think Aeron best fits that criteria.

Yes, Aeron is certainly Sirona's nemesis, and the god against whom she was assigned to guard Erebus. We see in the Elohim entry that Immanuel Logos gave up his position as her priest-king when he saw the destruction of one of a Phalanx of her Titans fighting Aeron's armies.

Agares and Sirona were once very close friends, while I don't think Sirona and Aeron ever really got along well. She has been trying to "pick up the slack" to help humanity get along without having real hope, but she hasn't really been fighting Agares. She is the one good god who does not want to see him defeated, but rather redeemed. The rest think there is no hope for the god of despair to ever repent, and think she is foolish for trying to convince him too.

Based at least on the Mana chart, I think that Amathaon (Creation) was the god assigned to defend against Agares (Despair). Amathaon is however very peaceful, and didn't really want to get personally involves in the Godswar. I think that he created Eurabates, the strongest beast ever made, to stand in for him and lead his armies into battle while he stayed out of the fray.

Wow... I learned so much stuff about the lore reading these few posts. Where is this mana chart? Sounds like it would be fun to look at.

Neat. It all seems to fit as well, except for that horizontal line... though others seem to agree with my on that. Is there a similar chart that lists the different gods?
