Falling asleep while playing

This "one more turn" you guys talk about is completly gone for me... with the New Option (Quit to Desktop) i can't play for long...
Can't fall asleep during the game, too easy to quit.

Please Firaxis remove the "Quit to Desktop" option :LOL:

Well I have the OPPOSITE probelm to you folks. After spending a whole bum-numbing night playing Civ IV, I usually can turn it off. But I can't get to sleep after that! It's because I've been sitting at the computer doing nothing, not having expended any energy doing anyhting remotely physical that day and because when I turn it off I keep thinking about the damn strategy and things I should have done and could do.

Barbarian axeman are a serious threat when your that far in the game?

Wednesday I was playing a game witch was a fun game ... early war, nice tech race ... the works...... but I fell asleep right in the middle of the game ... my hand on the mouse and the other hand on the keyboard sitting in my computer chair.

I fell asleep for at least one hour and a half. I feel like I dont get sleep enough or I play too much (I dont feel I pllay too much I play roughly 10 hours tops a week).

Did this ever happened to you??????

I've had scary hybrid real-life/ Civ dreams. I should probably see a psychiatrist but that would cut into my empire building.

Dreamt the other day that whenever i talked to people i know the wierd diplomacy box came up. I'm scared.

Yeah, if you've got a city with no units on it, even a warrior is a major threat.

This thread reminds me of my cousin... He plays a MMORPG (Anarchy Online) a lot, and one of his friends was once talking about falling asleep unintentionally while playing, in the middle of a raid (= kind of hard quest against über mobs), only to wake up 30 or 60 minutes later, dead, his whole raiding team dead, and... with saliva spilled all over his keyboard (he slept mouth open over his keyb'...no comment...)

Personally nothing similar ever happened to me. Although i've already worked or played a whole day, the night following, and up to like 10:30 in the next morning if i'm like on an important thing/project... Computer keeps me awake, and when I go to bed I can fall asleep quiet quickly. Also, no 'onemoreturnisis' symptoms for me. Guess I'm lucky
