Your meant to upgrade your skill only at set times in the game.

Currently were in the Moring only at the end of the day at night will you be able to spend your skill points. I'll make it clear when this is done.

I cant stop you form re-rolling your charactor
but its not in the "spirit" of the game

Once that zombie is dead I wanna pick up the equipment I found, ask Rats if I can add that Crucifix to my bling collection (unless CG wants it, being Catholic) and then examine the flipped car to see if it can be fixed.

On a side note, I have now came up with a (100 point) Mr.T V2.0, I might post the stats soon (not for the game, as i doubt that would be allowed) so you can oggle the almighty stats :D.

Just making it easier for everyone to see (it's hard to find in all the jumble that is page 9 :)).

It looks like the zombi was lying on a [FireAxe][2H] 5Kilo, All metal make with lether grip, makes it a little heavy but very durable.
This weapon makes is excellent for close combat giving x1.8 Impale attack value. In addition it can be used as a Axe for breaking down doors
 
Gah!! Now I need a bandage for this. At least the zombi payed for ruining my jacket.
 
I pick up the [FireAxe][2H] and ask MrRats to have it. "Take this and use it for self defense, for you only have a small weapon" I said as I present the fireaxe to MrRats.

Does Mr.Rats have a high enough Strength to use it efficiently though (he only has 8, and it's fairly heavy).

(This sounds like i'm becoming a hoarder! But it's really for the good of the group).

IF he wants to, I could give the baseball bat to him in exchange for the axe, and then give the metal staff to Perfection.

Well, in that case, Ill hang on to the fireaxe for the time being. CivGeneral slips the Bowie Knife in his belt.
 
GM:Lozzy: You have the Gun skill, stick to using Firearms
I'll take over Perfections charactor to get the game rolling.

MrRats has a carrycase, but is holding the MetalPole[2h], The Fireaxe[2h] He could carry but will have to drop one item before entering combat. EDIT: Yes CivGeneral primary weapon is now the Fireaxe

Perfection has hammer tucked into hes belt currently carrying [toolbox] with [knife] [dimond saw] [ducttape], Hes [backpack] contains [Firstaidkit][2]

The last place of interest in the locked [glovebox] and on the ground is [jumper cables] and [car jack], inside the cabin of the fire truck is [cutter]
 
I'm going to pick up the jumper cables and starter jack.

Then i'm going to inspect the car to see if we can flip it and get it going (possibly using those new items).

(I'm actually attempting to flip it and get it going (with help) now).

OK, I will try to do that in the future :).

Also, I believe Mr.Rats has the toolbox and CG kept the fireaxe...

Fix the Car

With all the combine strength of Lozzy, Civ general, Perfection and even MrRats. You shift the cars away as best as possible. Mr Lozzy Is already eager to filp the car, But a little planning goes a long way. Distributing the Strengths of the charactors evenly along the length. it only takes you a single try and the Car is flipped up right with an earth shattering CLANG of metal and rubber.

Hope you havent damaged anything.

The entire team is now all over the car seeing if they can get it working. Mr Lozzy the most eager and Impulsive. Had jumped into the drivers set, with the keys still in the ignition tried starting the engine. Almost immediately the engine comes to life then shudders to a stop as black smoke begins rising from front radiator.

Perfections: Mechanic (14) 2+5+1 = 8 Pass [+10exp]
CivGeneral: Electronic (8) 3+4+6 = 13 Failed
mrRats: Diagnosis (12) 3+3+2 =8 Pass [+10exp]

CivGeneral is working on the electronics and battery, Failed to find the problem
MrRats checking out the underside of the car, Succeeds and gives the thumbs up. (No repairs needed)
Perfection working on the engine. Succeeds in carying out some repairs but the car needs a lot more work before it can be used. Looks like we will need to salvage parts from other wrecks or try exploring a few houses. Even then theres no guarentee the car will work.

CivGen and MrRats are looking for the problem with electrical systems. Perfection is estimating how much time will be needed for the repairs and what the odds of success are. Mr Lozzy sitting in the driver position is helping out Perfecton.

NOBODY BOTHERED to Keep a LOOKOUT.

(Only you were facing the right direction for the check, You managed to spot something at mid distance)

We have Company
Mr Lozzy, at firsts fails to noticing the shapes appearing in the distance, it dosnt seem to register at all. Then after a short time he realises that something is happening, waving down perfection, Lozzy moves out of the car for a better look.

With a shout of alarm he alerts the group "Guys we have company"
At this range you can make out some details. One of them appears to be in a Firemens uniform, another four seem to be civilians, Behind them you spot more movement. Almost at once they have spoted lozzy, immediately they pick up there speed from walking to running

GM I'll take over MrRats and Perfection, Try to keep them alive.

Me and CG can shoot at them a few times...

"Rats and Perfectafool, go and scavenge the other vehicles- we NEED to get thise car going, and fast!".

I will shoot twice, aiming at the closest zombies and at kneck/head height.
Wait- how far away are they exactly? In metres or feat...
(I still shoot)

Then I will try to fix that engine again, whilst keeping an eye on those zombiefools incase they get too close.
