Fantasy/Alternate history unit request: Roman Grenadier

Yes Kinboat made an Industrial and Modern Legionaire.

Well the dragoon would be easiest because I'm using my Polish cav animations but the marine would be hard because of the sword and no thighs. The officer is out of the question because coat is one object.

What about a Roman Marine? Has that been done?

if the Roman troops kept the track of multi-role operations that they did from the Punic war till Constantine, then one coudl expect the main battle legions to be able to perform those sorts of operations. Paradropping is another likelyl candidate of a function to be combined with the legions, fi they were raised, trianed, and orginzed in a manner imiler, but eveolved to the times of the early/mid imperial eras...

but considering my officer will likelly be some sort of specialized unit, I wount dare complain shoudl someone decide to make it, or other specialized romans ;)

The Romans did have other military soldiers besides the legions, like Auxillaries and Velites. They probably could have the Legions be trained in ambious roles, but more complex stuff(like Navy Seals) would likely need a different unit. Another possibility is that Rome would organize the Legions according to role. Like #1 threw #3 are GI, #4 threw #6 would be Marines, #7 to #9 would be Special Ops etc.
