Fantasy Unit Requests

I really hate doing this but several of those proposals have struck my fancy... I can't say they'll get done soon (or maybe ever as a number of projects have been dropped by the roadside in the past few years) but I'd like to be able to make a Dragon Turtle (one of them sunk my boat :( ), and maybe a Leviathan. And I suppose a werewolf shouldn't be too hard after making my Gnolls...

Can you imagine how wide my grin is right now? :D This is really, really cool. Thank you so much.

And I have creators fighting over my requests! Should I go make some popcorn?

I already made some popcorn! I love both these guys work. Without these 2 creators I wouldn't have half my units!

Well if you want it Aaglo feel free... You have more experience with water units. I might still make a version but I won't feel any time pressure this way.

I had made a suggestion before about ading a turtle shell to the sea serpent in that thread. It would look really good as a Dragon Turtle if that helps you any. Even though I geuss this is Drift's request, so whatever he wants is fine with me. Just making suggestions. ;)

My only wish about the dragon turtle is that its proportions would be closer to this than this

The long neck makes it look like an ordinary dragon with just an added shell. But that's only a suggestion too - I like giving unit makers as much freedom in their design as possible. :)

Aaglo, answer truthfully. Have you already started your mayday celebrations?

Don't be sorry. That was funny as hell.

Well, atleast here's a start of somekind (nothing more than a part of the shell, but it gives the idea of what I'm after).

BTW, I think I saw somewhere a warhammer-seaturtle too - it was a lizard fighting seamonster ;)

Looks good. :) Should the spikes be a touch wider and a touch shorter though?

Sure - this is just the dragon turtle in it's infancy (the spikes won't grow height, they only get wider through the ages)... :p

Also you may notice, that the holes for the head & tail are still missing :mischief: (so actually it's just a hatchling - it does not pose real threat now, unless you happen to step on it [punch] )

Sorry to litter the thread (I have a tendency to do so), but would this kind of civ-colouring look stupid? I think the PTW-dinosaurs had something like this... I think that It looks actually quite ok, atleast if the civ building these isn't using any overly bright civ-colour (red, magenta, blue, ect.)

Looks good. Nature mages of MoM are all greenish in color so it won't be a problem with them. :)

Edit: should the civ color be as rings around the spikes?

Wow, that shell still fits right in with my needs as well, and the picture Drift prefered would be the same for me, so I have absolute confidence that this will be usable by myself. Good idea about the civ-colors!

No, they should be random like that - My tortoise has random spots in the centre of the shield sections (but those spots aren't civ-coloured :D )

Okay. Just checking. :) I have a feeling this will turn out quite nicely.
