Favorite Books/Movies/Etc of the Purity/Harmony/Supremacy people?

XCOM:

Purity = regular XCOM soldiers

Harmony = G-Mod soldiers utilizing alien genetics

Supremacy = MEC troopers

Too bad there's nothing to represent psionics... [cough]expansion[/cough]


Also, in a way, Starcraft can fit with the affinities too:

Purity = Terran (big heavy war machines, battlesuits, and lots of human grit)

Harmony = Zerg (focused on biological advancements and utilizing other species' genes, organic and primal... also overmind/mind-flower)

Supremacy = Protoss (heavy use of robotics to supplement their limited population, cybernetics to bring back their fallen warriors, high and mighty attitude)

Again, all of them (even the Zerg to a small degree) utilize psionics... [cough]Beyond Earth:[/cough] [cough]Awakening[/cough]

I was replying to these coughs... you need health to expand in BE.

Puritans would definitely be fans of the lore of Warhammer 40,000. Although I'm sure that Supremacists would love the parts about the Adeptus Mechanicus. And the Harmon . . . ists? Harmonics? Harmonites? Harmonies? Whatever, you know who I mean. They might look on the lore of 40k as a cautionary tale, showing the horrors of a puritan and/or supremacist society.
