Sneaking marines to undefended regions to give paratroopers offensive backup is very useful!
You can generally use it to pull all the Ai's offensive troops away from your tank column while hitting strategic reasources in the back.
It's also the best recon unit for aiming bombers due to it's range.
While not obviously powerful it can be evil if used properly!
MAs Don't help when droped forces take out your aluminum
