"Feature Transfer Error" during install

Has anyone seen or solved this particular problem?

"Feature Transfer Error"
Feature: Default Feature
Component: Civ IV English
File: E:/data3.cab
Error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check)

I get this message after disk 2 reaches the end of it's installation, so I can't play the game at all. Calling tech support tomorrow....

CRCs are typically indicators that either your disc or your drive has issues. If the other discs install normally it can be a very positive indicator that your disc has a production mishap.
