Features that Civ 7 Could Do Without

Spies are tedious micro and their gameplay effects are either pointless, or completely destroy Suspension of Disbelief. Having a Spy destroy the equivelant of every factory in Detroit or the Ruhr, somehow siphon off half of a superpower’s GDP, spur a spontaneous uprising of suburban Karen’s, iit takes you completely out of the game.

Earlier versions of Civ made it optional for very good reason, and I’ve noticed all of the good “Advanced Options” mods like Customization VI or DB Gold remove it along with the World Congress.
