Is there a tutorial on blender that allows for a couple simple edits of a 3d objects? I'm a little familiar with working that program as I've converted some objects created in Poser into buildings for CIV4. I have no idea how to edit the shape of objects in Blender.

I have no tutorial at hand for that at the moment, but I would just search for Blender tutorials with Google. There are many good ones out there.
