Hi there. I'm buzy creating a space colonization scenario, and it works out quite well. I have a problem (or two):

I don't appear to be able to get a 'CITY' file in my scenario. If I put one in the scenario folder and I start the scenario, I just get the normal civ city screen. What could I have done wrong?

Also, Pieces aren't integrated with the surroundings. In the following picture you see some planets. Some fit well in space (water), but most planets (or astroid fields, nebula's) have a strage green 'edge' around it. What can I do to prevend this?

The green edge thing looks like a problem with the terrain1 file. Somewhere on it is a tile that looks like regular grassland; replace it with a space tile. I *think* that will fix it.

I myself have been having many such problems lately; trial and error seems to be the best approach! :crazyeye:

The edge is due to the dither tile in the terrain file. See BAQ or DW to see the optimal way to get rid of the borders. Sometimes you cannot erase all the dots in the dither tile or white triangle errors will appear. The best is to make the dither dots almost the same colour as space so they just blend away.

the city screen can only work in the master civ2 folder. Make sure you make a copy before replacing it and give the same advice in your readme to players.

Yay, it worked. Thank you :)
