Ffh Nes Ii

LDi had a very intricate system and i think it worked rather well for him..... way to go out with a bang.

LDi: i took some creative licence with your character and his death because you needed something poetic to end with and i thought that would do. I hope it works.

EDIT:

Orange: the pony parade was ripped off from your NES (consider it my first homage to your work) and no- it was an event- merciary didn't know about it.

The only thing is, I'm not sure if LDi really succeeded in his goal to free the Grigori - I mean, they're no longer vassals, but by the same token they're barely holding out against the undead people. Still, he definately had the most effect of the three temporary players, although it took him longer than the rest to do so.

EDIT@Immac: hahaha... that's great. Except now I have to return the favor... hmm...

EDIT2: anyone else notice that the Grigori are the only people not in an alliance?

somebody posted this with their orders. I frigging lost it for like 10 minutes when i saw this.

can you guess who?

Sick is an good enough reason to be late. I hope you and your family get well soon!

sorry things are so quiet for you tyrs...
no events for you this turn... i almost fudged the dice but decided against it.

Immaculate, I think you some how infected me through the internet, just today I've started having migraines and feeling like crap. Not the greatest for taking a math midterm.

oh no! get the fever down or you'll hallucinate for hours and hours and 12 hours will go by and you'll wake up in a cold shower thinking 10 minutes have gone by...

or see a doctor...?

good luck with the midterms...

EDIT: oh- and it looks like another big repair bill for you this turn.. poor hippus- always repairing their huge army.

Tuan's goal was not to free the Grigori. Tuan was after revenge. Imagine a moment what it may be like...

You are fighting orcs with Hippus, Bannor and Amurite allies. As you scale down the enemies' palissade, you kill an orc only to be hit in the head by a sharp spear-point.
You fall. Darknes is all you see. You can't hear anything, it's like your whole body was made of cotton. You can't move. You breathe, but hardly. Weakness. Is it Death?
And suddenly, you wake up. You still feel bad, worse than you ever felt. But you... live? Around you, corpses. Most of them green. You try to stand up, and manage to walk without falling. Noises outside. Noone else is moving inside the walls. You near the broken doors, and peer outside. Are the orcs still there? Did they push you out?
You look. You stare. You see your friends, fighting, but there are so few of them left. And they are fighting the Amurites, who wield your spear, the spear you gave hem yourself so they could lead you in battle. You see General Caswa, and the Bannor and the Hippus, and they are killing all of yours.
This must be a nightmare. This must be Hell... It cannot be...
You fall again, and lay among the dead.

Much later, when you wake up again, the corpses are still there. The orcs, and the Grigori. The Grigori are dead. A part of your mind remembers the Grigori back home, but they aren't real. The real Grigori are here, dead to the last man, and you know you are in Hell. And there's only one thing to seek in Hell, and it is revenge...

So let's have a look at my checklist:
-Kill Caswa's heirs: Done.
-Steal Patrian Spear; Done. I thought someone would recover it, but it's not going for today it seems. Looks like fun, it'll be a neat prize for whoever cleans the Tomb :goodjob:
-Damage the Amurites: Mmmm... Gold wasted, research harmed, outpost abandoned, units wounded: Done.
-Damage the Bannor: Kind of interrupted their Festival and caused heavy attrition upon them: Done.
-Damage the Hippus: Zombies on previous update, and now more of them. Done.
-Help the Grigori: Well... They lost a city, but I arrived too late to help. At least now they have a nice army of undead that can protect them from other undead, and they have suffered somewhat less than the others.

Unfortunate side effects:
Kappa and White Mist Elves casualties/losses: Sorry, guys. Tuan really didn't want to hurt you, but war is war...
Grigori are now an island of living in the middle of an ocean of undead. I'm afraid that's called Friendly Fire. You better get an idea to get rid of them, Charles, because it doesn't look good. Tuan's Damned will survive, but I had forgotten the elephants. On the other hand, if you capture a live hare and hang it on a stick, put one of Tuan's Damned on the monster's back and have him use the rabbit-carrot to manoeuver the elephant, you could have an army of trampling mastodons...

Honestly, I didn't think this would be that successful. You're all quite lucky this happened the last turn I played, because it would have been really ugly if Tuan had survived this turn.

Immac: Nice bit of poetry at the end. I wish Tuan would have cursed his killer in the end, but I was afraid noone would be able to kill him. The Tomb's effect was nice. :goodjob:

To Tuan's Damned (OOC, btw)

We thank you for protecting us and will be forever grateful to you and your leader/master (you chose LiDi). We suggest one thing: Climb on the back of an infected elephant and dangle a rabbit infront, then they are controled by the urge to infect the rabit. Well Done, now we can survive for hundreds of years living in a dark, walled in, vurnable and yet well-protected city! :p

yeah, though I think it's more sinus related but I haven't had one this bad in a while.
And yes it seems every turn my entire income goes into my army. I really wish combat related stuff would stop, I really need to fix my economy.

The Scout units that have risked their lives to trap and kill hundreds of zombies during lulls that Tuan's Damned have brought about are now know as "The Hares". They are alert, fast, and most of all, their companionship with each other has helped us survive, along with Tuan's Damned.

Its ok, I forgive you. Maybe you could say that if a nation goes a certain amount of turns without mention they get a free event, good or bad...
Did my plans go like I wanted them too? You could email or pm the answer.

Another great update. :goodjob: Very eventful in the other continent, but for the first time the dwarves can have a nice peaceful update. This is actually the first turn for me that didn't involve a war or battle ... but I was way too paranoid of a counterattack by Seon to stop myself from writing any defensive military orders.

And the idea of zombie animal hordes was just pure genious. Forget chariots, kneel before the zombie elephants!

Sorry to hear you're sick Immac, that really stinks. :( Hope you're better soon.

@Master: Don't worry, you were one of the few people (wait, there's only three, aren't there :mischief:) that had nothing at all to do with my agenda, and was seriously planning something beneficial for you as a reward :(.

Now for my checklist: Maintain Paranoia while alive :Check:

Maintain Paranoia after Death  :check:

me too. my acolytes have been holed up in the palace in the same room for the past fifteen years

Yeah, I guess I just took that whole slaughtering my citizens and burying them in the woods thing too hard. :p

Oh well, I guess I missed out on your benefit, it wouldn't happen to be a certain artifact would it? :mischief: At least I did get something out of the whole process: Troop damage! I think that is my main skill, turning any situation into damage for my troops. The thing I'm not so good at is repairing them - there is no way I've repaired more than 30 gold worth of damage all game, and I can safely say I've sustained a lot more than that.

Now for my checklist: Maintain Paranoia while alive :Check:

Maintain Paranoia after Death  :check:

Yeah that's my second best skill: being very paranoid. Note that, like my first skill, it doesn't really get me anything beneficial, just really long military orders that don't get used. Thanks for enduring all of them Immac.
