FFH2 and patch 3.19

Kael...I am really thankful for your teams effort to make this mod a reality..

My issue is that multiplayer does not seem to work. I have installed patch B. When I go the the lobby it will not let me create a valid game or even see other games. Same problem on brothers computer...Any advice?

In my experience, the only way to get LAN to work was to install the mod, download the lastest patch, then immediatly play multiplayer. If I played a single player game beforehand, it would break.

If you mean online, I have no idea. I don't think FFH works on "normal" multiplayer at all.

For multiplayer use Hamachi. It works for 41b.

This is a major pain because I just reinstalled Civ to be able to play this latest version of FFH after many months of not playing it.

Unfortunately I bought the game through Steam and so it installed the game as v 3.19 by default.

Anybody got advice on how to fix that? Could a 3.17 patch overwrite the new changes? I am guessing that .19 and .17 do not 100% overlap in the files they affect, and that it wouldn't work.. but what else is there?

Hmm... the official download page http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1 says "requires v3.19" contrary to everything in this thread. Is that right?

I have played FFH many times previously through gamespy on the internet....That is the feature that no longer works. I will try the HAmachi and see if I can get a game started that way. thanks

My friends and I usually have a hard time playing MP FFHII through the GameSpy panel, but after this most recent patch, we were all able to connect without a hitch.
