The mod loads at start and from game saves with no problems. Around turn 300+, in multiple games, a the game will freeze. A click on the map or other input will cover the entire screen with a white, translucent overlay. It becomes impossible to affect the game, switch to another tab on the taskbar, to the desktop, or to the Task Manager. The power button does not log me out. The situation has, so far, only been resolved by holding down the Power button until the computer powers off. The overlay does not initiate the freeze, it is a reaction to a click after the freeze.

The game was purchased during a sale on STEAM around Jun 2014. I have up to date Win 7 64 bit OS. My on motherboard graphics chip is Intel HD Graphics Driver Version 8.15.10.2622 and appears to be the latest Driver. RAM 8 Gb. and vanilla CIV IV BTS runs with no problems. So far just FINAL FRONTIER mod is an issue. I reset my graphics and audio options lower and turned off music. This happens in EVERY game of FINAL FRONTIER at about turn 300+.

Has anyone had a similar problem with this mod. I really bought the game for FINAL FRONTIER to avoid setting up my broken Virtual Win XP machine again  due to the difficulty finding and installing all the apps that will run on XP and play well together I guess I should post that liist and sources somewhere if I ever am able to access the data on the VM running XP under Windows 7 64-bit .

I run Final Frontier and Finaler Frontier, which is a souped up mod of Final Frontier, with no problem on Windows 7 64 bit setup. It is running in a virtual Windows computer on a Mac. I do, however, have the programs from the CIV Complete disk, not from Steam. Try running Finaler Frontier, which you can download from the CFF downloads area. It fixes some bugs in Final Frontier, besides adding some improvements. Perhaps that will solve your problem. Be sure that you set the Final (or Finaler) Frontier .ini to NOT load CustomAssets. If loaded, things in CustomAssets can conflict with the changes made by any mod and can cause all kinds of strange behaviors. If neither of these ideas help, there may be a glitch in your Steam download. In that case you might want to redo that.
