First Civ Path

I'm thinking Rome>Spain>Prussia, Led by Fredrich or maybe Revolutionary Napoleon and establishing big empire in both the old world and the distant lines then just being an absolute menace in the modern era

I don't think super planning like that sounds super fun the first time around, when I'll barely know what the rules are and am just feeling things out.

I do want to go a game where I lean heavy intoi diplomacy on one of my pretty early games though.

I was thinking about planning it all out, but I think I'll just feel it out once I've got everything in front of me. Might take an hour, but it's what needs to be done.

I wanna save Prussia and Russia for Bulgaria being in the game .. try and save Normans for when Great Britain is in...

So I'm thinking some island based run as Himiko. Or possibly Aksum-Chola-Mughal as Ibn battuta.

Tecumseh [Greece > Shawnee > Siam] looks like a fun first playthrough. The leader and civs look to have some amazing synergy with city states, plus I really enjoyed city state play in 5 and 6. Venice was my absolute favorite in 5. Just become besties with all the city states and win.

Confucius/Han, starting small and compact, going into Mongolia for the conquest in exploration. Dunno about modern, Qing perhaps, to keep with the theme?

I'm pretty sure I'm starting with Amina/Aksum. Not sure where it will lead from there, though.

Confucius Han -> Ming -> Qing, followed by Catherine Rome -> ??? -> Russia. Will probably just be messing around in these games.
