3 polder spots + 1 huey spot, and tons of food!

Wow! Very nice. Just needed a river there. :)

Nice! Is that a Secret Life of Walter Mitty reference? ~ One of my favourite films!

If you're asking me... I have no idea what you're referring to lol
Oh, it's a good film. The volcano features in it, including its pronunciation...

...Love that film.

depending on the rest of the map it might be worth more as a polder than a Huey.

EDIT--Oh, I see the hill now. Tricky.

I think it was the 2010 Eyja eruption that brought it to the world's (and likely Firaxis') attention after its ash cloud basically shut down northern European air traffic for a couple of days.

I snuck in and blocked China from expanding to that, which pissed fatty off so he declared war on me. It cost dearly, but I prevailed and he brokered a peace once I built Ancient Walls, it was worth it.

This is definitely one case where you want to immediately buy that tile above to give the city a head start.

And if I'm counting right, the lake has 3 polder spots, but the 2 water tiles next to you are also polderable, maybe even the inlet below if there's another flat tile next to it.

Did you put this in the wrong thread...?

Well, my settler was alone, but I had just explored the area, so there weren't any barb camps in the direct vicinity... plus it's very near my capital!

game info:

Code:
map: fractal
cs: 18
sea level: high
size: huge
world age: old
rainfall: wet
game seed: 889583175
map seed: 889583176
Also, I lowered the number of AI civs from 12 to 4. Hope you like playing wide. I tried generating the map with 12 and I spawned somewhere else; not sure if it's somewhere else in the same world or not, or if it's a totally different map. Changing the AIs to 4 gave me the same spot

OMG there is Iron on the double Eyjafall spot! That is +6 food, +2 prod, +2 culture and +1 science. In my 900+ hours of civ 6 I don't think I've ever seen an 11 yield tile in the ancient Era (could have been +12 w/ Nubia).
