Fixing up DR

I have decided to make some proposals to help fix DR's situation.

At the moment DR is a size 12 and is currently building knights. In the DR, I wish to see the Cathedral and University to be built to help bring out culture from the two improvements and science from the uninversity.

DR has no need for culture as it is not under threat. At this point we need some weapons and Science. So University is a good plan.

So we can cross out Cathedral . Anyway, A little science never hurts anyone .

I'd rather DR start immediately on wonders. It's infrastructure is good right now, our science is decent. We need, however, to start immediately on wonders - see the Wonder-ful thread.

I think we're actually a little late in the wonder race. About 20-some turns late, more than enough for a monarch AI to be nearly finished with their wonders. I say we build up knights so that we can take out Babylon and russia, and claim the continent (and take out the 3 islands for the luxuries).

I'd prefer to see DR build a cathedral, it has 4 unhappy citizens, 4 happy citizens, sure it isn't growing, but I'd still like to see the happiness bonus. Also, we might be getting into the industrial age's soon, so it's best to prepare.

It's not growing, and isn't gonna grow until we get Sanitation. It doesn't need a cathedral, which is a waste right now, IMHO.

Not a waste, more happiness = more score.

CT, I agree, and disagree with you.

I agree on the Cathedral - right now, we don't need it.

I disagree about the wonder. It's irrelevant if it's too late to get Sun Tzu's - we should be looking at the entire cascade as a possibility. Right now, Sun Tzu's and the Chapel are in play. Shortly, Leo's Workshop will be added to that list. That's three options right there - all extremely useful wonders.

Add to that Bach's and Smith's - all possiblities with research, and both extremely useful wonders, there is no reason NOT to start DR and Groton on Wonder projects.

The Middle Ages has wonders with some of the greatest overall impact in the game. We shouldn't give up on them as easily as you are.
