Flash Drive Question

Ok let it be known that Im ******** when it comes to computers and how to do technical or even "easy" things on them, so this might seem like a stupid question to some, but it would be awesome if someone could help me.

Situation: I have this flash drive but I have no clue how to save files to it. I stick it in the USB port, it lights up, and then I can't even find it listed in the options of things to save my documents under. Theres the 3 +1/2 inch floppy drive, the C: drive, and the D: drive and something else, but nothing relating to the flash drive. Am I not doing something right, or do I have to do something before saving? Any help is welcome please!!!!!!!

It'll show up as another drive on your computer. If the light is blinking constantly then that mean it's working.

Hmmmmm, it must not work then on my computer cause the light does not flash constantly and it doesn't show up as another drive. Oh well, thanks. This stinks, I now have no way to transfer my music from this dinosaur of a computer that doesn't have a cd burner to my other computer.

SO long as your OS is 2000 or XP it should work....

Nope, its either 97 or 98. Thats a real dissappointment to realise your crappy computer is even crappier than you realized. Thanks for helping, I appreciate it

You'll have to download and install drivers for it. (XP and 2k automatically do this the first time you plug it in)
