At the moment, we're looking for a replacement.

I think times like this are when games die.
So I'm putting an end-of-this-week time limit on this.
If no-one turns up by Friday, I'll restart with plan B.
 
Glad to be on board. A bit weird taking over another persons fledgling empire. Like moving into a flat where the last person left without warning. Old newspaper on the table, half eaten sandwich on the the counter...

Welcome Sinister, that's how it is. I got my game in a Lead position though I didn't much care for the layout of the cities. It's cool seeing how someone else played.

Well, a disastrous round, almost a month.

Anyway, welcome the newcomers.

If anyone is having email problems, please post here so everyone knows about it....or send me a PM, or something....
 
just a heads up ... I am away Mon May 23 to Wed May 25 with no access to civ - normal activity will resume on Wednesday night (or Thursday, depending how late it is when I get home).

Not that it will make much of a difference with this game :).

I just took another look at it, I think the problem was that I had the archive button checked, so all it was showing was "and 2 archived" or something.

I am going to try to send a test to myself and a test GPS to you in a second here...

Cool, it is working now, what a handy tool.

yeah - the pbememailer doesn't bother to try and send saves for archived games. I put in the ability to archive games as it checks the save status for all non-archived games when you load (or refresh) the application.

Well it is a brilliant little tool, very nice work. :goodjob:

I wish more (any...) game producers would put the effort into making tools like this that facilitate multiplayer...
