:lol: wouldn't that be something hm? I'm not sure what I need for my team though....defender, midfielder, attacker? I don't think the players are the big problem, their skills seem fine to me...

I receive the same message.:p Well, not exactly the same. The board just gave me £1.6M, but I have now more than £6M anyway. :)
 
I have lots of money but I can't find anyone to buy at a reasonable price so far. Its annoying that teams want me to pay 800k more than a particular player is worth just because he is young. Especially when I would have to sell them if I was relegated.
 
There are 9 separate games which operate completely separately from each other. So Shabbaman is in game 4 and we are all in game 7 so we cannot ever play each other or buy or sell players. There are then 8 different countries with two or mor leagues each. You then choose a free team to manage. Pick the team, buy and sell players etc. The game is processed on Saturday and wednesday where the games are played out on the seerver (we cannot see them) and then the results are shown.

Game 3 actually, but that's besides the point. I've waited three months before a team was available:(
8 mil? That's quite a lot of money. Somehow it seems that players aren't for sale in my game...

btw, isn't it time for some tour de france competition?
 
That would be fine. Should we do it ourselves or do you know a website where we could play a prediction competition?
 
Well frankly I doubt we can do it ourselves as few people ever seem to be interested enough. Only the World cup competitions have been sucessful and they were run on different sites.

8 million is alot but I am hoping to spend some of it eventually. :)
 
Hmm... we (I mean you ;) ) did the CL competition here, so it is possible. We could probably form some groups of riders and people would choose one element of each one. Like groups of sprinters, or climbers, overall, some gregarians as well, etc. The pointing system could be discussed...
 
Ah yes but I do not really follow cycling so someone else would have to organise it :p
 
I wasn't "inviting" you to do it. :p Just saying that we can do it here, as we've done it before, if a group of a few people is interested.
 
Yes well I obviously believe that without me, no sports competition can be organised in this forum :p
