OK, I don't ask you to give your tactics, just comment on mine.

I've got a 4-4-2 thing running (default, and only busy for 4 weeks or so), but I don't score enough. I also see a lot of 3-4-2 systems. Is there any system best for this game (not real life of course!!) ?
I'd like to do 4-3-3, that would even suit my players better. Any ideas?

I'd say go to 4-3-3 if it fits your players better. Also set your settings for midfield to 'push forward' and style to attacking.

3-4-2? Hmmm thats an interesting strategy 3-4-3 is quite risky and depends on whether you have good defenders. If you have lots of good players in a particular area, like I have 8 midfielders then you may want to play at least 4 midfielders each game.

You could try swapping players. Just by performing a player search and looking for a similar player, I've made a satisfying deal three times so far.

The problem I find with swapping is that its far harder to make a profit from any deals. You can only gain more favourable symbols.

Woo! An 89th minute goal gave Beauvais all 3 points and closed the gap at the top to a single point. Unfortunately I still only have a 7 point safety margin...

3 goals in the first 20 minutes settled it for me yesterday. And now I have two consecutive games at home, so I have a chance to clear the gap a bit more.
I think you're practically in th first league Dell. The fight is between me and Caen.

Nah I need to win 4 more games to be sure and until then I will not be happy.

I won 2-0, but the damage seems done...the game against Beauvais and the one after that really made the difference this time. Now: 17th in place. Had I won those two games, 13th within range of the 9th. Had I won only one of those games it would have mattered 3 places. I win, but the others seem to do so too. Anyway, the goal for now is to just end as high as possible, and put a team together for next season.

My aim is to achieve more points than I did from these fixtures in the first half of the season. I gained 10 points from these 6 games in the first half of the season.
