Although you could try checking to see when he was last online from his profile and then contacting the admin that you have bid for a player and sent a message and yet even though he has logged on after you sent the message, you have received no response.

This season is really turning into quite a disaster... 2 points from 5 games and bottom of the table, plus I just got my lowest attendance of the season.

well, it's only early season so that last one isn't that big of a deal. Probably only was your second, maybe third home game. And the other thing....well, you weren't planning European football next year, were you?
I was hoping to avoid relegation... The thing is that if my attendances are already failling then if I continue losing they will be at the same level as when I was in division 2 and then I would probably start losing money...

hmm, that last thing is a problem indeed, but let's see another 5 matches before judging. Avoiding relegation can still be achieved 
I only have one more game in control and then I will be going on holiday so I'm not that hopeful. I will either come back and find my team has lost all their games and are in even more trouble or they will have actually won some games but the computer would have been in control so they wouldn't count as victories under my management.

Willem may have been refering to the admin as being the board that control the game. Or he could have been refering to the board of directors for the other team who have the player that he wants. Perhaps he was hoping that the board would overrule the manager and accept the bid.
