FootieManager

Well the website address is www.footiemanager.com in case you hadn't found that yet. There aren't necessarily that many tips for footiemanager although recently the aggression setting seems to have gained some importance in discussions as it seems to pay of playing at 50-70% aggression against good teams whilst playing much lower aggression levels against lower league opponents so that player fitness stays high.

The other point is that its probably a bad idea to arrange lots of friendlies if you are trying to do well since they can tire players slightly and losing them all might have a motivational drop although I'm not sure about that. Be careful when buying players that you don't over pay or sell players too cheaply (This depends on which game you end up joining). Oh and try to avoid buying old players as when they retire you are likely to get a worse but younger player with the wrong symbol (Which is another thing that it seems you should collect either the same symbol or colour).

Thanks for your short info Dell19.
By the way, you are defnetly the member with the nicest avatar.
Are this ladys your models?

Hattrick.org is the better game but that has a cost in that it is actually reasonably complex and you can't get away with just submitting a team twice a week like you can with footiemanager...

Its been the same actress since some time before I started taking exams again, so around June...

Sorry, i wouldn't open a thread to ask you this question.

In order not to break the rules, i've joined the footiemanager, but i didn't have luck. There are no teams avaiable at the moment. :(

Even longer if you were to try and only get into a game where there already is another CFC player in it. Game 7 for example.

There are always teams available, it just wont let u select a day before/or on the day of a match, Try right after processing WED/SAT 11.30pm, u are guarenteed a team in any free game. (the good teams are gone quick so if u want a good one then log on at 11.30pm after processing to get a decent team)

I jumped from 15th to 9th while I was away.:D I should go away more often!

The switch to 4-3-3 instead of 4-4-2 seems to have worked very well, I'm now only 6 points off a promotion place. I'm hoping that I can get promoted this year, but it probably won't happen. Its probably better for the team if I stay down this season and bring in afew new players anyway, becuase my team would be, uh totally out of their league in division 2.

I've noticed that before where sometimes not logging in for a week actually results in a better performance although if I'm doing well I always try and make sure that I pick a team. I think pretty much whenever you get promoted you will have one of the worst teams on player stats so you just have to hope you get lucky and stay up. Plus you do get more cash from playing in the next league so it is worthwhile even if you go back down again like I did.

I tried it again today. And wow there are about 30 teams avaiable. So to all who wanna join, join today, you have good chances to select a good team.
I manage now SCFreiburg at game 7 and we stay at the 3 place after week 7.
It looks like a good second league team.

Bah..you should've joined game 10..the best free game of Footiemanager..;)

BTW..i tied 1-1

I decided to up the aggression level to 70% as I was playing the team at the top of the table at home and it paid off with us winning 1-0 and now ASBO are second in the league. I'll probably play 40% aggression on the next game since its a team near the bottom

I lost 1-0 to the current leaders. I played 40%, and the strange thing is that my players actually increased in health after they played the match. It might have side-effects (not winning 5-0 ;) ) but keeping my best players in shape is good compensation.
