I made a new map which extends the original Westeros map to include a decent portion of Essos. I also added some more land to the North beyond the Wall.

There is a mapvisible mod I made as well. The map is visible from the outset when this is used.

A Mod of Fire and Ice by Luir can be found on the Steam Workshop. This mod has been updated and the annoying things wrong with the original mod have been fixed.

I am going to make a larger map of Westeros. This will be a huge project to get it right. However, I found some nice maps and other helpful aids. What I need is someone who knows a lot about Game of Thrones. Or anyone that can give me any helpful advice about anything. Where certain resources should be, terrain etc. In the meantime, I have just started to read all the books.

If anyone wants to discuss A Song of Fire and Ice...feel free.

Hi. I played this mod some time ago (i think in G&K version). I played it as targaryans, starks, lannisters, greyjoys, arryn, and mance rayder. These are some notes:
1. The westeros size is a bit small. I know that in Martins map westeros is a lot smaller than essos but most of the houses are on the westeros peninsula with not enough space to build just 3 cities (especially in the middle). Maybe these cities could be fixed.
Great work with the units and the artwork...(especially the dragons......).
3. As targaryans, i managed to defeat the dothrakis, built 15 cities and a huge army (king difficulty). Some westeros houses had started colonising the essos building cities or defeating city states...I think that this gets a bit aout of the book spirit (instead of fighting with each other).
4. I think that n some way, the king in the iron throne should have some meaning (maybe by occupying kings landing....) and havingsome more advantages....
5. The religions are made really well. Maybe you could prearrange every house's religion i.e the old gods for the north, the rest of the westeros maybe 7 gods - except stannis - etc.
Thats all for now.

Thanks for the great mod

Thank you. I added Essos to the original map. Westeros is too small.
