Foreign Intervention

One of the best parts of the original colonization game was that you had to keep producing liberty bells after declaring independence to get one of the other european powers (not their colonial counterparts) to come to your aide. That way you could get some of your own man-o-wars, regulars, etc. Has that been duplicated in this game or are you basically on your own after you declare independence vs the REF?

Unfortunately that aspect of the original game was not included in the remake. There is no assistance coming from the other European powers although you can sign up some of the native tribes to help you out.
