FPK file Troubleshooting

Apologies if there's already a tutorial thread on this.

I've compressed my art files into an FPK file to save on space, making sure to save the file paths. I've removed the art folder, expecting the FPK file to successfully store the information.

It hasn't worked for some reason. None of the art shows up in the game. Anything I can do?

Packing doesn't save file size; it simply makes it easier for Civ to load. You should definately do it, but it's not to decrease size, it's a performance issue. Here is a tutorial on using PakBuild:

The most common causes of errors are: Compressing; the file should not be compressed, just packed. Not packing from the parent folder; the Art folder should be inside the folder you select to pack. Not storing full paths; alot of users forget to click this box.
