Damn I paid 50$ for my civ2. Saw it in bargain bins for 10$, now they give it away free. I think from now on I'll just wait for games I want to be free...

IMHO, Civ2 is worth 50$. I pay 700 pesetas (the money of Spain until the arrive of the euro) when I bougth my civ2 original copy. Now we use the euro,
7000 ptas = 42 = 42 $ (Approximately)
So I pay 42$ for Civ2. I firmly believe that Civ2 was the better game I have played, and 42$ is very cheap if I consider how many (many many) hours I've spend (and I spend, and I'll spend) playing Civ2

Its close to shopping time -- bought the original civ II for about $20-30 back in the mid 90s (version 2.40), MGE for $20 a few years back, picked up the RISK pack (but havent opened it yet
So I can get a spare copy of Civ II for $25 & get a shiny Frisbee free?
