Hello!

I´m new here and I have a big problem. I've red a lot, but nothing seems to work, so I'd registered and hope some one can help me before I buy another new computer..

Here is my problem:

Civ 5 freezes. Almost every time I try to play. It works better in the beginning, in small games and in new games.

I have uninstalled the graphic drivers and reinstalled it.

I always press on "verify integrity of game catch" before I play (and always get "One file failed..")

I have reinstalled the game.

....

Specifications:

*Windows Index Base score: 5,5 (needs updating)
*Windows 7 Home Premium
*Graphic: Nvidia GeForce GT 220
*RAM: 4,00 GB
*64 bits
*Processor: Pentium(R) DualCore CPU E5300 2,60 GHz 2,60
*Did I miss something? I'm really not good at computers...

....

And one more thing; I have a update to do on Windows Experience Index, which always failes to download (freezes). How important is this new uptade for the game?

Well.. I bought this computer in october, only for civ5 (have played since civ1) and I would be so happy if someone could help me. I've tried a lot of things now,. I've had this problem since I got the computer...

Turned out to be something wrong with the hardware, probably with the graphic card. Thanks for reading.. I will hopefully return my computer fixed within three weeks.

The game has issues/bugs with freezing especially on large maps with lots of players. The GT 220 isn't exactly a stellar graphics card either and Civ5 is very heavy on the card.

I hope whoever is fixing your computer isn't charging you too much in fees :)
