It's been 2 and half years since I've been on these forums...man it's been awhile.
At any rate, my PC died, and I installed Civ3 on my wife's laptop running Vista. Everything is fine, the game works great. I also installed Conquests and downloaded the latest patch, 1.22.
My problem is, the Scenario/Map Editor is vanilla...it thinks my install is for 1.29 of just the main game. There are no Conquest units it, no new civilizations, resources, etc. I'm rather baffled at this. Now, the map editor works just fine, as long as I don't want to include Conquest stuff in a custom game.
I just think this is very odd. I thought there may be a trigger somewhere in the editor for "turn 'on' Conquests" or something like that, but I haven't found anything.
Should I just uninstall and reinstall Conquests? I'm rather baffled by this. Thanks.
