Hey, don't knock Transports as offensive units. At a strength of 16, I've used them to sink Frigates and Galleons.

And I have used fleets of transports to take down fleets of battleships.

1 battleship plus 5 transports can easily take down 4 battleships. Suicide the battleship (collateral damage) and then bring out the transports.

BTW does anyone know who Shima is and why Tokugawa feels he must taunt Shima inappropriatley every game?

Incidentally, it is pronounced Foo-koo-shee-ma, with the accent on "shee". As someone who has spent many months in the city, I know.
